Why oh why, can't I just let the sun shine on me?  Why oh why can't I just bask in the glory of just being?  Why oh why?  Why?  Just wanna know....

Why?

I'm trying so hard not to let the rain in, but it just keeps tapping on the window...begging for me to come play.  The sun is just behind those clouds, so why can't I just let it shine?

I tried dancing in the rain...only to find it laughing, taunting me.  I tried to ignore the jeers but they just kept getting louder and more cruel...The rainy rain is so mean to lil ol me.  So I smiled and danced some more, pretending not to hear.  Pretending is not so fun when ur not a kid anymore...not like this.

I just want it to be a sunny day.

And all the while...I hear that softest whisper.  Always calling me. 
I hear you. 
No disrespect, but please leave me be. Your time will come when it comes.  Not a moment sooner.  If today is that day, then take me now and let's end this charade.  If today is not that day, then please just let me rest.

So yesterday it rained.  I listened to the rain as I did some inward inflection and this is what she told me:

"The beauty of the world is as you take it or as you make it."

And the sun shined.  The clouds did not part.  The blue sky did not show through.  But the sun did shine.

It made me happy.


Hmmm...bipolar much?

I am just a walking, talking, discombobulation.  Hoorah.
What did I do?  Or maybe it's what I didn't, or don't do.  Mmm.

Time to commence recombobulation.

hmmm, if "discombobulate" is a word, how come 'combobulate' isn't?  If "perturb" and "disturb" are words, how come "turb" isn't?

haha, yes!

Everyday there is more to be learned, more to be felt, more to be experienced...  Everyday is a new day to grow.  Even if changes aren't readily made, at least we can learn where the problems lie, so that perhaps, gradually, they can be solved.
